Coating details with a silver is a guarantee of choosing a very good surface in terms of current conduction and soldering. In our factory, we offer a silver coating service. Due to the sophisticated technological process, we realize orders efficiently, professionally and with accordance to the individual arrangements.

How to use the silvering potential

Silver conducts electricity very well and solder with equal effect. For this reason, it is often used by the electrotechnical industry. It is possibilities in our plant to obtain a coating hardness of approx. 110 HV at the most frequently chosen thickness from 3 to 15 micrometres. Of course, on a special order, we can make a thicker coating if the project requires it.
 
The maximum size of details that we process by silvering is 500 x 500 x 200. Our processing capacity reaches about 150 kilograms of details per shift. We use the following devices:

• PUB 50 (750dm3)
• KGZ30 Cup (~600dm3)
• KG10 Cup (~10dm3)

How the silvering process works

To perform a silvering process properly, we always use a copper undercoat deposited during a cyanide bath. In an aim to optimize the activities the right silvering process to be preceded by the initial one.
 
Using a very modern, but proven equipment, we support a manual production line. The human factor allows full control over the actions and guarantees diligence in the execution of each individual order. To achieve the final effect of silver-plated details, the following processes are necessary:

• chemical degreasing with ultrasounds
• digestion
• electrochemical degreasing
• activation
• initial silvering
• right silvering
• final processing
• drying (in a centrifuge or dryer)

Why choose our silvering

The coatings that are the result of our process are durable, ready to soldering, dairy and with a high adhesion index. To check the exact thickness, we measure silver with a special Fisher’s measuring instrument.
